What Motherboard should I buy? - Page 2

its not CPUz, CPUz just reads from a SuperIO which connects to the BIOS which goes the PWM.

I think the issue is partly with the PWM itself, as GB had this type of issue with the ISL6366 on some of their Z68 boards, but now they used digital PWM so GB doesn't have this issue. The LLC being so strong is the PWMs fault, the reporting is prob some glitch between the UEFi and the SuperIO.

Out of three, Extreme6 isn't listed on HWBot, and UD3H has the highest OC with GD65 close second.

UD3H has digital 6 phase VRM

Extreme6 has analog 4 phase doubled VRM

GD65 has analog 6 phase doubled VRM (identical to MPower btw).

Extreme6 has this, UD3H definitely doesn't, and GD65 probably not.

Feature wise MSI offers the most. Extreme6 and UD3H have similar amount of comprises.

MPower has WiFi and Bluetooth. GD65 and MPower also do X8/X4/X4 PCI-E lanes configuration compared to X8/X8 at 3.0 and X4 at 2.0 of the other boards listed here.

Thanks for simplifying!
I'm interested in Z77A-GD65. Do you think it will be a good choice?

I intend to use the Corsair Corsair H60 with 2 Corsair fans in push-pull and in the future, buy one H100i.
I've thought about this possibility of buying Msi MPower, but unfortunately it will not be possible.

Just one question. What is the advantage of Vcore offset?

Lower idle voltages.

If you are on air/water there is no reason you will need more than this. HWBot is for Liquid Nitrogen overclocks which I assume you are not doing.

For the small price difference between the 3 Motherboards, I believe both are good for overclocking, my doubt, is about which Motherboard offers the best features.
At the moment I'll just use a Corsair H60 in Push-Pull, therefore, I believe it will be possible to reach 4.5Ghz / 4.6Ghz with good temperatures.
