Ok since you are not going to actually need 32GB of RAM, then return it ASAP.

As for motherboard you listed you want to overclock. I would go with this motherboard since it is proven quality, also holds world record overclocks on that board. It isn't all that expensive either.
Motherboard

As for RAM, 32GB is insane for gaming. Here is a decent 8GB kit that shouldent cause you any issues.
Memory

This motherboard and memory combo is still cheaper than that 32GB Corsair kit you listed so I'm sure it's not out of your budget.

Also what are you using for CPU cooling? Please tell me you don't plan on using the stock heatsink than came with your CPU.

So I've returned the ram plus mobo back to newegg. I'm going to get the formula v. Ram suggestions? I might go for those rip jaws.

G.Skill is great and I would have no problem recomending that set, but Samsung makes nice RAM too.

Samsung 8GB 1600 kit. At first glance the 11-11-11-28 timings look terible, but thats at 1.35v. You could probably overclock them to 2400Mhz at those timings and 1.6v with that motherboard.

Either one is a great choice it just depends on if you want the red heatsinks or high overclock.

You seem to be fixed on 16GB of ram when you only need 8GB. I was the same way, then I realized how dumb it was unless I was going to be doing some video rendering/editing/cad or a few Adobe Programs but you said you were gaming and overclocking.

16GB sounds awesome but for you, you probably shouldn't keep trying to just blow money for no real reason.
I mean if you can afford it and just want it for purely looks then by all means go for it.

OCN is a great community to get real useful information and lots of help with anything and everything that you could possibly need. Glad to have you part of it. xD

Sorry, also Samsung wonder kit above it awesome, if you want colored ram then a lot of G.Skill is awesome and the Corsair of course. Along with others. If you want to go with a theme then G.Skill Sniper is cool looking, even though with most memory you can't really see it anyways. The Samsung memory doesn't have a heatsink but still wonderful overclocking ram
