Load Line Control is not working - Page 4

Also, is your memory rated for 1333 or is that just what the BIOS defaults to? What exact DIMMs do you have?

But I will tell you that you can increase the HT Link to 2800mhz easily. Leave the NB Frequency at 2000 or 2200mhz, do not go any higher. And unless you have some reallllly nice RAM, going from stock 1333 to 1866 isn't really going to happen. You may get 1600mhz out of it but you'll need to adjust the timings. If you're using the RAM in your signature rig, then I'd leave it at what it is for now and buy some 1600 CAS Latency 8 or 1866 Cas Latency 9 RAM when you can. You'll generally see better performance from high capacity RAM chips... like 2x8gb set should out perform a 4x2gb kit... thumb.gif

I have ddr3 Markvision memories 8gb, but is from my old pc, i will buy 2x8gb Gskill 1866, but im using money for my college notebook.

I believe with my actual memories i wont be able to overclock it, it doesnt have a dissipator, and maybe if i change the timings the memories will burn.

My memories are 1333 from stock, they are 4x2gb 240 pin, but 1 module is bigger than the others 3, they have the same specs, same latency...

memory doesnt really get that hot unless you are pushing it a LOT. Those big fancy heatspreaders that you see on most memory nowadays are 95% decoration.

People are overclocking these particular DIMMs to 2100-2400.....minus the big flashy "heatsink"

I saw on my memories website and said that i can push them from 1333 to 1600, and on my motherboard i can change the frequency multiplier and/or ajust the latency, can i put it to 1600 just throwing up the multiplier?

Those Samsung sticks don't clock well with AMD systems... I have 4 sticks and NEVER got them higher than 1900mhz... I absolutely LOVE my Tridents!
