Radeon Pro did not help fix the problem.

hmm thats surprising. Which OS are you on. Windows 8 is particularly bad in windowed mode sometimes. Have you monitored GPU usage in GPUz. Mabye your stuck in idle clocks or something

i am using windows 7 64-bit, but since i just installed an ssd i don;t have gpu-z will install it now and report the results back.

sorry, ignore the fullscreen one, when i screenshot the gpu load went down. But i monitored them both fullscreen windowed and fullscreen they were about the same gpu load

I don't think the clock speeds are wrong or anything. When i monitored it on my second screen while playing i switched between fullsreen and fullscreen windowed, they were pretty much utilizing the same amount of GPU usage.

Just upgraded to an i7 3770k still getting stutter in fullscreen windowed/windowed, this is really annoying frown.gif
