Just got mine in for my TRON Legacy themed build. Newegg boxes showed up yesterday.
Really nice looking unit, well packaged, with a cloth bag to hold all the wires.
As stated before, they do still need to do some better quality control. I immediately heard some piece of crap moving around inside. After some shaking upside down, a 1/4" diameter solder splash dropped out of the fan grille.
Not. Cool. Plugged it into a crappy old mobo to make sure everything was ok, and it fired right up. Think I'll still take it apart and make sure there's not going to be any surprises in the future.
The 24 pin power cable, pretty standard stuff except for that current sense connector. Not even sure where that thing ends up... going to chop the awful looking sleeve off the wiring soon. I'll be sleeving with white 550 paracord, shrinkless. And the wire length on the current sense connector is a little bit too short where it comes out from the sleeved bundle... makes it tough to insert it into the PSU, and likely to get pulled. One more reason to eliminate the cheap sleeve job.
These cables just make me mad. Seemed like a good idea in theory, but in reality they are a serious pain to thread around inside a case. I'll be buying a full replacement connector set for the PSU and redoing these.
Overall though I'm happy with it. The casing looks awesome, and it fits in with my theme perfectly. It's really quiet after a momentary full speed fan run at boot. The cables are all being replaced anyway on my build, so the major gripe is a moot point.
