hi guys im using the nvidia drivers 93.71 Forceware with the Tweaks'R'Us Tweakerizer 93.71 and everything is wokring fine..I overclocked my videocard using tweakRus and in Ntune is says something else...i just want to see how far i can overclock my 6600's using stock fans. What are good programs to use to overclock and willl they work with my Tweakerizer..as long if i turn off the manual overclock option...heres a pic

In the Nvida window i kno it says 2.16 but i think its really 1.16 because before default was at 1.0 Ghz

I run my MSI 6600GT's in SLI at 574/1.16...smokin fast and stable. But I used coolbits to squeeze every bit out of them I could.

just tried Coolbits..and it was some registry file..not sure if it worked..

install the file...it automatically places file where it needs to be...then go into display, settings, advanced and you should be good to go.

Yea, coolbits just enables the option in the Nvidia control panel. You should see it as "Clock Frequency Settings". It's pretty simple to use, soon as you find it.

Cool, some more dual 6600GT users!! I use coolbits as well (and the old school control panel, not the new crap) to OC mine. Im running 570/1275 right now, no artifacting, max load temp of 68C, max idle temp of 47C - stock cooling and stock volts for now.

Ive found that 92.91 tweaked drivers work the best so far, but I havent tried any of the new 93.xx tweaked drivers - Ive got more benchmarking to do tonight anyways, so hopefully Ill work the new drivers in as I go.

that thread has some benches right now, has a bit of good info, Ill be adding more to it as I go with more benches. (Im actually trying to get dual 6600s to perform similar to one stock 7900, haha XD)

good luck.

You will need clocks of about 2000 MHz on the Core to try that!
