is PCI-e supposed to run 1:1 with the CPU clockspeed? -- however, good looking temps

I've got a pair of Leadtek Extremes with a factory oc of 550/1120. The one time I tried to push them up a bit, they artifacted like crazy; and that's with Zalman coolers on them, not stock fans. Then again, the second card was an Ebay special and I had to reseat the fan, so maybe I'll push it again...

artifacting is not always a result of excess heat, it often stems from a lack of sufficient voltage. I for one will be doing some volt-modding once I get some better cooling on these 6600GTs
