Alright, so i have bf3 installed again and the stutter.. is completely gone. I have only had a few games but its loading properly, no stuttering at the start of matches, Its working properly. If i do experience any stutter it will no doubt be from the cpu so yeah, happy with that. The image quality is definitely a step above nvidias aswell, calibrated with the syder elite 3 and the color space is better. and it shows. Not so happy with how long it took to get the drivers working and the fact i had to take pliers to my pc lol and that i had to do format and lose 100+ games. Figured out the bios not showing up was due to some incompatibility with my tv i guess cos i plug it in to a different tv and it shows up fine. It affects it wierdly tho cos when i restart it doesnt even switch off, just says shutting down then switches to the login screen. ah well. Did a quick comparison with 3d vantage, 670 was overclocked to 1230mhz i believe where the 7970 was at stock, so not really a fair comparison but i lost about 800 points overall. Got a small overclock on the 7970 now so will do another run. peace.
EDIT: much better, cpu was overclocked as much as you can with the 2400 and the 670, and still haven't got around to that yet with the 7970... http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/5654263
