Anything I can do with a Mobile C2D T9300 CPU?

Thread Starter
Hey all,
I have a Dell XPS M1330 from 2008 which has a T9300 in it. It is a Socket P processor. Is there anything I can do with this, as well as the RAM and HDD currently in the notebook? The XPS M1330 still runs fine, although very (very very to the point where it burns your hands and runs slowly due to heat) hot. I'd love to turn it into a server/HTPC - preferably by taking out parts and sticking them in a new mobo and case (with a new GPU and fans).

Is such a thing possible?

Thanks

i know that was a huge upgrade for my gateway FX laptop back in the day. i am sure someone still using one of those would want it for an upgrade. put it up on here or notebookreview and it should sell.
