H61 + addon cards vs "all on board"

unfortunatley my dealer has only mobos with some marvell controller, and older P67 mobos.
new H77 and z77 chipset only mid or end february.

i need my PC to work and can't wait so long.

FOR THE SAME PRICE as for ex. p8z77m pro / ga z77 d3h i could buy :

H61 DS2h

i will be using a SSD from INTEL 330 120gb - and need a sata 3 controler, so :

pci 1 x sata 6gb/s controller / NO raid / and ASMedia ASM106x

i would like to know about the performance, would it be the at least same as intel Z68 and/or onboard asmedia controller from Z77 ?

i dont have to reach 500mb/s sequencial. i am worried about random read and acess time !

must remind the the other pci-express slots will be filled with:

* intel pro 1000 CT (pci-e 1x)

* asus xonar STX

* EVGA gts 450 1gb gddr5 SC (2 slots )

I7 2600 + 16gb g.skill sniper / seasonix X 450

Someone else will chime in but I think the biggest thing for enthusiasts with these smaller boards is the cooling. The heatsinks for the VRMs and what not. The overclocking stability may be limited.

i forgot to mention :

i'm no enthusiast !

i use my PC mainly for working and multimedia.

i want good perfomance and stability, but no overclocking and/or exageration, no benchmarks.
i NEVER play games !

if the performance is as good as it would be enough.

i just want to avoid unpleaseant surpreises with sluggish speeds

thanks a lot !
