I'm so mad at filco right now.

So, my filco keyboard just arrived, it's a tenkeyless ninja majestouch 2 with brown swithces, and for my surprise, it doens't have the damn num lock button! How the hell am I supposed to type numbers with it? This is my 1st mechanical keyboard and I'm already so disappointed.

tl;dr: but a filco tenkeyless and it doesn't have the num lock button.

A TKL does not have a number pad, so it does not need a number lock.

The numbers are usually located above the letters.

Are you mocking me? I mean, of course you need the num lock button to, you know, write numbers. Or is it just a coincidence that none of my number keys are working? I can't type any of the numbers in that upper row, because as I said, it is missing the button...

Num-Lock only controls the numpad, hence why it's usually on the numpad. If your regular number keys in the top row don't work, then you have a defective board.

...what?

You don't need a NUMLOCK to type any of the numbers in the first row. NUMLOCK is to switch the numpad from numbers to arrows, pageup, etc. Since you don't have a numpad....
