True but the timing of the 600 series being applied to 700 makes more sense just saying and more im not physic and you right no one knows but logically im still waiting regardless i will be getting a 780 or 770

What would be NV's motivation for pushing out a 780 early when Kepler sells just fine(and they just boosted their profit margin with green light) and there is no 8900 yet.

At last year's CES there were stories about how Nvidia wanted to showcase 680 but couldn't make it happen, this year no such stories and their entire marketing arm is blowing Tegra4 & shield atm (last year it was busy talking Kepler).

I don't disagree that Late March/Early April could still be a launch date, I just don't view it as the deadline. NV could be thinking the same way Intel does and go for a late May or later launch but with 770/760ti following much sooner.

Reading about a price drop, I'm hoping that nvidia wants to clear a bit of the 600 series stock to drop the 700 series sooner than later.
Having an undisputed top dog card is somewhat motivational.

I have no idea about launch, just hoping sooner from both camps... new toys are fun biggrin.gif .

GeForce-GTX-580-to-Get-Price-Cuts 10 Days before 680 release last time. so 6 more days till 780 launch? Don't think so.

6 days was derived from the history of 10 days between 580 price cut(3/12/2012) to 680 release(3/22/2012) and this price change happened on Jan 15th. That's the reason I quoted that TPU article.

Since you implied history repeating itself:

I digged up the 580 price drop and estimated. Never did I claim that it WILL happen in 6 days(1/25/13), just that if you implication were true it would happen.

I agree that it could be release in April, but don't think April is the definitive deadline.
