Need a PWM-free, glossy monitor.

Hi guys, I need to replace my Dell U2412M since my eyes have recently gotten very sensitive to brightness and PWM flicker and I've never liked the grainy surface of the AG coating.

Some monitors I've been looking at are Dell S2740L, U2713HM. Samsung S27A850D, Asus VG278HE

Any suggestions? Need to be PWM-flicker free and as close to glossy as possible.

-edit-
Forgot to mention that I'll be using it about 50/50 for gaming/browsing and then mostly coding in a couple of months.

I am in a similar boat. I have the U2711 and I noticed the same issue with my eyes have become extremely sensitive. I look at the AG coating at the office and at home. I seem to strain a lot more now.

I am looking at the viewsonic VP2770 suggested by another user. Also looking today at the S27A850D and S27B970D at microcenter in person. I am probably going to pull the trigger on the VP2770 for the color uniformity, accuracy out of the box, low input lag (7ms) and no overshoot compared to the samsungs and my current U2711. I was considering the U2713H however 1000$ seems a little steep for what you get, and there just isnt enough information out there to make a smart choice when buying that monitor.

The only thing holding me back from the VP2770 is the lack of information. However more then one user has recommended the PLS panel for my gaming and photography needs. So I might take the leap and check it out. Judging by your other monitors you have asked about the VP2770 would be at the top of your price range?

Also it would help to know what you are using the monitor for. Mine is 50% gaming 30% reading text and forums and the last 20% editing photos.

That Viewsonic one looks good, but there's no retailer where I live that sells Viewsonic, and I'd never dare buying one without demoing it :/

Amazon, you can return it. Im considering pullin the trigger like I said I will post some information on it if it does well so that others like yourself in the same boat as me can see what else is out there.

Like I said its calibrated out of box (atleast that is what I was told) 7ms input lag.... seems like a good option. I just looked at the S27A850D and S27B970D. They look the same when on the PLS screen looks much nicer compared to the U2711 AG coating. The Viewsonic uses the same screen.
