OCing a BFG 6600

Thread Starter
Well here are the specs:
BFG AGP GeForce 6600 256MB

I think the default clocks are 325mhz - core and 300mhz - ram.
I oced it to 430-core and 500-ram. Its temps are 38c idle and 50c full load. Is it possible to overclock farther? Like flashing it or maybe adding better cooling? I have not been able to get it to the point of artifacting because Riva keeps saying it failed to pass the test.
Any ideas will be appreciated.

You might think about betting a more powerful PSU. You might think about tring coolbits.

yeah forgot to update my specs cause im building a new system anyways the psu is 350w now. I foound out that riva displays my ram speed cut in half so in reality its 1 ghz. I still cant over clock to the point of artefacting though..
