I have no problems with it working, I just can't stand the poorly done binding interface.

I'll give you that.. it should have the default Xbox controls properly assigned by default, and reassigning them doesn't have to be such a PITA

F310 is my recommendation. It's unfortunate that Logitech stopped selling the F510. Was probably overtaking the sales of the F710 since it was wired and had dual vibration motors (and all of the problems some people have had with wireless). I really wanted one though since the F310 doesn't have vibration motors which I'm probably going to need for Fez for the tuning fork room puzzles.

It's all preference though. I use the D-pad often and the XBox 360 controller's D-Pad is horrendous. The triggers are a bit too clunky for me and I'd prefer as little travel as possible on the triggers (like my Dualshock 2 controllers).

Wireless occasionally has issues in older games, but there is usually a fix.

Also, the bundle is the only way to be certain you are getting a genuine receiver.

Why would anyone recommend something that needed a fix vs something that didn't?

This is silly. The wired 360 controller has been the best choice for years and still is.
