The older color scheme was a little flashy for my taste. However, it certainly looked cool/unique. I can understand the switch to a less outspoken and distracting look. With the old keyboard, I imagine a lot of people would not want to get it because it does not go well with their other peripherals. You could ask who cares. But I think people who spend this kind of money on their peripherals do tend to care at least a little.

Those keys are for macros meaning I can make it open a program or perform a certain set of keys in one touch or people use it for MMOs but to they are useless anyway

Not sure why they feel so inclined to force the red WASD keys upon people. It pretty much limits the market to FPS/MMO gamers only. I guess that's probably the majority of PC gamers anyways though :/

You don't have to fit the  WASD keys, they come with the keyboard as extras and YOU choose to fit them or not.

These new keyboards look sick. The slickest keyboard corsair could ever make would still be a fully mech K60 with dual lighting system and custom keyswitches (you could pick and mix, like cherry). Regardless, I'm extremely happy with the red switches, since they have made a difference to my game. Having the perfect feedback on the button presses allows me to keep better track of what I'm pressing and press keys faster in a rapid succession. Needless to say, presses register faster with da reds switches.

Btw, as a happy owner of a K90 (and previously extremely unhappy), I can confirm that they have fixed the key repeat errors, lighting issues and keyboard sleep problems with the latest firmware, at least for the K90 rolleyes.gifthumb.gif
