We managed to push the Sapphire HD7870 w/Boost to 1235mhz core and 1645mhz memory. Any higher and very minor artifacting would occur (analysed with software).

The Sapphire dual fan cooler is very quiet, and even under gaming load doesn’t emit very much noise.

Would've loved to see a comparison with the 7870 as well as showing Crysis 2 and Metro 2033 scores.

Edit: I know it's based off the 7900 cores.

It's in stock now at amazon. Don't think it's worth $60 more than the 7870 though.

Sapphire HD 7870 XT is an excellent card at USD 260. the regular HD 7870 models should sell only for USD 230. this Tahiti LE card has faster 6 Ghz memory . overclocks and scales brilliantly. its faster than GTX 660 Ti. this card has a much better cooler than the PCS+ MYST HD 7870, Club3d HD 7870 XT joker, VTX3D HD 7870 Black edition cards which use the same Tahiti LE chip and manufactured by TUL corporation.

Reminds me of the 560 Ti "448 core", great performance for a great price with slightly higher power consumption to make up for the low price.
