13.2b drivers solve Frame Latency problems. - Page 17

I'd rather just play it on full Ultra with no issues on my folding rig with a GTX 580 in it. Works great then!

Game runs perfect now!!! thumbsupsmiley.png

But I needed to set Post FX to medium. Anything higher would drop FPS to 45 and stutter like it was 5 FPS.

Know why?? Anything to do with VRAM??? With Post FX at Medium uses 2.2gb VRAM. WIth Post FX at High uses 2.4 VRAM. But the difference on FPS and Stutter is A LOT.

Edit: Forced AA by CCC and now it is using 2.7 VRAM but the game runs perfect. In game Post FX must be broken!!!!

Post FX is fine for me on Ultra 95% of the time?

That's some seriously high VRAM usage, how has it managed that? I disabled PostFX in the XML to kill off some of the DOF overkill and don't use AA @2560x1440. The maximum VRAM I've ever seen used is 1088MB. Surely PostFX and AA aren't adding that much or are you using Eyefinity?

For me its ok only with 1 monitor. With 3 monitors anything higher than "medium" it starts to stutter like it was 5 FPS.

Yes. I run eyefinity with 3 monitors @ 5760x1080.

Glad you've enjoyed my little rant mates. biggrin.gif It's frustrating to read about people's issues, try to help them with the best intention, to the extent of my knowledge and using valuable time and then...discovering that his/her software environment is filthier than a riverside hooker. And when you tell them that issue, it isn't the problem(how in the world can them, the maximum haxxors, have broken everything to the extent that a game of Solitaire gives them BSOD?) But holy testicles, when you finally get them to give their drive a goob scrub with bleach, it miraculosly revives, and all is good. Kthnx bye is all you get. Until they have to come back cause they're "smart" enough to play Dr. Mengele with their pc's but they aren't smart enough to heed good advice and put it to practice. It's easier to turn your pc into a nailbomb and then blame some hardware engineers, some driver engineers who to them must be all day making the elevator with their middle finger up & down their ass instead of, you know, being real and actual hardware & software engineers who have made your pc. hannibalsmiley.png

I don't see far the day when users will come claiming that a driver has raped his canary yessir.gif and kidnapped their first-born.

btw guys. It is kinda releated to drivers so I might ask it here.

using radeonpro, Is it recommended to use flipqueue set to 2 (frames ahead) and trple buffering + dynamic framerate control set to 60.

This completly resolved any microstutter. Now, I am yet to install 13.2 but I don't even see a point anymore tongue.gif
