I would think that any heat you might gain with long tubing would be negligible when compared to the improvement over air cooling.

D5's are not ideal pumps for head pressure. If I was looking for head pressure, it would be a pmp500 or a 35x.

I'm terribly sorry to resurrect this thread but I'm thinking of getting a Corsair H80i for the new sandy bridge E system I'll be building. I was a bit skeptical at first at such a small radiator and the questionable built in pump setup but the reviews I've read look promising...
