[TPU] Corsair Introduces the Hydro Series H110 and H90 Liquid CPU Coolers - Page 9

Smart way of doing this, before press release is to get your marketing team to do there jobs correctly.
There are people who will fight to make sure that all is correct. When you show the images you have, 15mm is it.
I have no problem saying I was wrong.

So next time, make sure you announce correctly the details with proper images, so this do not happen.
As for the fans, wasn't about specs, just to show the 140mm size.

In that photo, the angle prevents you from seeing the appropriate gap between the fans.

But you are right, we have a compatibility chart and I'm not sure why it isn't up on the site. I'll have it up tomorrow.

That angle can see if there was a gap.
Good idea to help fix any confusion or issues.

Is pump flow rate what is currently restricting the radiator thickness of closed-loop coolers to 25mm or chassis support or both?

Chassis compatibility. Most cases don't even have 50mm of space up top, let alone the 60-75 that you'd need to do a thicker rad. The Asetek 38mm thick 240 (I think Thermaltake sells one) has huge compatibility concerns with a lot of cases.

Unlike the DIY watercooling guys, AIO coolers work the other way around. People buy the case first and then decide of it's going to fit their cooler. Sometimes this is done simultaneously (I'd like to own an H100-style cooler, which case should I buy?) but usually it's "I've got a , can I fit an H100i?"

With DIY cooling guys, they know they're going to build some nice custom loop, so they start looking at cases that offer them the flexibility. "Okay, to cool my 3770K @ 5 GHz and my overclocked 680s, I'm going to need at least two 240mm radiators, in push-pull. Which cases should I be looking at?" This is almost always the situation.

Which is also the problem with stuff like a 360. There are, what, 10? 15 cases on the market that'll fit a 360, stock? And the guys buying them are buying DIY components because those cases were designed with that in mind.

Not saying we'll never do one, just that it's something to think about.

My point was a few people already wondered which one would perform better in this thread, if they are identical in performance it seems like Corsair has a better deal on bulk units or something because the price is lower than the corresponding NZXT model.

The H90 and X40 are priced the same, while the H110 is $10 less than the X60, however both Corsair models are missing sleeved cables, fan control, LED control, and the fans operate 500RPM slower. I can't officially speak for Corsair, but I'd imagine this is where the $10 goes. wink.gif
