Anyone who owns a 7000 card + CS:GO also has some strange corruptions on the Bomb on the Map St.Marc? It doesn't seem to happen on other maps.

It looks much like Z-Fighting. And btw, it will lead into DX9 flickering when you stand with the bomb into some shadow and play a bit around with the angel. This may be a nice example to reproduce flickering as well.

This is what I get also... this happens to my radar as well on other maps and sometimes parts of the map. It's random.

EDIT: THIS is also what I get in dota 2! My god I wish this would get fixed!
on the map St. Marc it's not random you'll have it as soon as you equip the Bomb. It looks like some Driver glitch. That sucks.

ok where is the update everyone is talking about? i went to AMD website and still see same driver published on 01/17/2013

The screen goes black like it should when the uninstall process reaches the video driver but the desktop never reappears for the remainder of the uninstall. I've noticed the fan on the video card audibly speeds up at the same moment as the monitor goes dark. The only way to see the desktop again is to restart blind which is a problem because I can't be sure the uninstall actually completed. My monitor is connected via a dual-link displayport and I've also tried a displayport-to-HDMI adapter but no luck, the screen remains dark.

This black screen only started recently for me - I've been uninstalling catalyst drivers for this card just fine until the last two or three versions. I thought the black screen was being caused by corrupt drivers after too many installs and uninstalls but I did a clean install of 64-bit Windows 7 and the 12.11 betas a couple weeks ago. Yesterday was the first uninstall since then and I still had the black screen problem (and I uninstalled with both the new standalone utility and AMD Catalyst Install Manager). I'm not sure it's a driver issue exclusively, I found a thread after some internet searching where someone said a BIOS update solved the problem for him and I do think I upgraded the BIOS on my Asus P8Z68 Deluxe/Gen3 to version 3603 right around the time the problem started. Still, can AMD please investigate? It's incredibly frustrating.

Think the monitors going black is related to in my case Logitech gaming software running in the background. I suspect closing all Logitech apps solves the problem. As a safegaurd I wish the driver uninstaller would scan for conflicting software before running like the Nvidia drivers behave. This is why it makes me think that ATI engineers are 'lazy' as their counterparts at the Nvidia camp took the effort to cook that into their code!

Bug check description: This indicates that the kernel has detected critical kernel code or data corruption.
This might be a case of memory corruption. More often memory corruption happens because of software errors in buggy drivers, not because of faulty RAM modules.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

Conclusion

2 crash dumps have been found and analyzed. No offending third party drivers have been found. Consider configuring your system to produce a full memory dump for better analysis.

Post your minidmp files and I'll analyze theme, whatever program is telling you they dont hold enough info is completely wrong, the minidumps will give yo the last 10 or so commands in the kernel's stack, and which driver was issuing or receiving those commands.

Now I'm getting flickering in the windows UI (7, Composite disabled). When I turn LCD overdrive on and off it goes away. It didn't happen with previous drivers (12.6 or 12.8). When I try to take a screenshot (using printscr), the captured image looks OK, so I think the problem must be between the frame buffer and the signal sent to my DVI panel.

Hmm, that's interesting, glad you figured out your issue. I do use a wireless Logitech mouse and keyboard but I've been doing so for years; the black screen problem only started recently. I don't even use the Logitech drivers/software but rely on Windows built-in support. I guess it's possible something in more recent drivers could be interacting badly with my setup. I think I have a wired mouse/keyboard lying around so I'll test the uninstall with those.

Notice a small problem after installing 13.1 drivers for my 7970. It automatically sets the max clock of both my GPU and memory to half the default settings when i restart. I have manually readjust my settings back up in the control center each time a restart.

Anyone else having this problem?
