Ok so I've never put together a water cooling kit before so...I went a bit overboard on distilled water. I wish I would have gotten a picture of how XSPC packed their kit, it was fantastic. Everything neatly tucked in the box, everything had a place.
Performance-PCS has become a favorite of mine, outside them giving us members on OCN a discount promo code, they make sure you're getting the right stuff.
Dunno how many of you have ever owned a Seasonic power supply before, but they're the top dogs. You pay a premium for them, but they don't just come in a box. The unit comes in a felt bag, and the cables come in their own nicely made dual compartment bag.
Fully modular <3
because trying to manage this....is a nightmare
The Raystorm Kit goodies. The nice thing about this kit, is the raystorm block is one of the better blocks next to EK, and the stuff they give you are pretty nicely made stuff. The clamps that come with it are useless but meh. They're coming back off as soon as I get the copper piping.
Picture when I had my H50 in it. All in ones are impressive for what they are and offer for the price that they are. H50 is old, but it still did a great job over a noisey air cooler. They're all irrelevant now that Swiftech released their H220 though <3
Something about a black MB that just makes me drool. Looks nice with a waterblock on it and not that huge...h50 block. And yes, those are the beloved and notorious Samsung memory modules that are increasingly hard to find now. I'll never understand why Samsung makes something amazing, then just do a limited run of it. Like their Spinpoint HDDs, they were great, now they're hard to find. Their memory module pretty much raped any other memory out there for it's class.
Got the radiator mounted
Unfortunately it didn't fit in the little compartment, or I was doing something wrong, I'd rather just put the next set of fans in there though. (this was before the new radiator was mounted)
you have to run the hoses a little longer with this kit since the fill port on the resevoir is on the top so you'll have to pull it out half way to fill it
And it's all done with the new PSU and Raystorm kit. I'll get better pictures when I can, I didn't want my DSLR down there since I get super unorganized and start dropping ****.
