Im the same way. I won't download drivers that aren't from the official supplier. This has saved me much grief. Also we've been stuck on 12.10 since October. So I wouldn't take that "it will be on in a day or a couple" thing to heart. Did we ever see 12.11 or 12.12? :-)

I'm not sure of that. Along with my 18.5% increase in Shogun 2, I just ran Metro 2033 maxed at 1080p and went from 38 to 42fps vs 12.11 which is 10.5%.
Two greater than 10% improvements in the two games I've tested thus far would tell me that something has changed.

Those were betas which AMD does not post. This is WHQL and will be posted. In fact, they're already posted; see the links in SimpleTech's post.

So are they missing anything from their release notes?

AMD did post 12.11beta on their site, however I did not see 12.12. wink.gif

I'm thinking maybe Guru3d just posted the 12.11 notes assuming this is just 12.11 with WHQL certification.
I'd wait to see what AMD's official documentation says. In the meantime, can someone try and replicate my increases?

Spoken in regards to the 13.2 beta:
"The driver does not yet contain the new video memory manager. Our intention is release a new driver in a few weeks, which does include the new Video memory manager, which will help resolve latency issues for DX11/DX10 applications."

So expect another performance jump in 13.2 or 13.3 when that is implemented.

Oh! So they posted changelog Form 12.11? Er what now?

As for me I tried bf3. I had test results from previous bench on 12.11.. went from 71 to 77 avg fps. Apart from that the frame rates seemed more stable and dare I say it felt smoothepr? Only thing im not sure of is if it was the same map i tested it on bit whatever.I'm not sure though might be placebo effect.

Guru3d's is directly from AMD's change log

So we still need the 12.11 CAP2 on these... if they are newer than the 12.11 b11 why are those CAPs not integrated into the driver? I smell a WHQL of 12.11 b11...

I am dissapoint. mad.gif

I don't know where you're getting your drivers from but I'm on 12.11 B11 with the 12.11 CAP2. They posted them on the AMD site right here:
