I don't know which DPs are used in the GEIL that ncsa uses but he got them to 1100.

boredom; it puzzles me as to why "if" they were indeed D9s, why would they start at the bottom of the barrel? I mean CAS 5 for DDR2 800? That's low, and I highly doubt that they're D9s. All D9s start at CAS 4 for DDR2 800 and CAS 5 for 1000+.

Then there's the CAS 3 800 from Corsair also. But CAS 5 DDR2 800 from other manufacturer? Doesn't sound like Buffalo is putting D9s.

Thing is "if" that guy did take the heat-spreaders and "says" he got D9s, why not take a pic? Who can't afford a camera and same goes for sardonic.n7 because he says IHHO, which! I still need to see it to believe it.

And from what I've seen and compare to, I've never seen D9s 800 at CAS 5.

Beats me why they have them currently at 5-5-5 but they did have it at 4-4-4 up until 1-3weeks ago, hopefully I can get a response from Buffalo soon and get a screenshot of what they say

Things point more to that they do indeed use D9 than they don't, these people don't seem to have anything to gain by lying about it

There was a review of them that I was looking for before and they were D9's Im gonna try finding it.

That is the FSX800D2B-K2G kit though, not the D2C

You mean this page with 4-4-4- with the model # FSX800D2B-K2G. And newegg's page link for their 5-5-5- model # FSX800D2C-K2G.

The more I think about it, the less I think those new models that egg has, have D9s. D9s are in short supply and expensive, they've been since Sept when the price for DDR2 sky rocketed. Then came PROMOS and Elpida which is what's so cheap (well, not that cheap).

Well, see, that's where the problem is, the D2Bs were D9s with CAS 4-4-4 and now the have what it seems a lesser quality IC that they're rating them at CAS 5-5-5 for the new DDR2 model. And "if" they have D9s, must be the D9DCN or D9CHM, good but maybe not for high-frequency with lower latencies such as 4-4-4. Which btw, it's the best way to run DDR2. Not 5-5-5.

Well when I order mine, if they aren't D9GHM, then Ill just RMA them.

I don't think it was that page, I remember pressing F3 and pasting in FSX800D2C-K2G and having the kit highlight

Team Group, Super Talent, Crucial, Cellshock, and G.Skill seem to be doing fine in supplying D9's at a reasonable price and have been doing so since I started looking at my upgrading options about 1-2 months ago

Promos and Elpida can do CL4 at ddr2 800, so the CL5 can't be explained by them and still leaves D9 as a possibility

This thread scared me off those Firestix at the Egg, so I ended up ordering the 2x1GB Ballistix PC2-6400 4-4-4-12. I'm pretty sure those will be D9. Or at least Micron Plus, $220 after rebates with free 2nd day shipping seems pretty reasonable these days

512mb kit but they're still D2C

And the few reviews here
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Custra...82E16820150054

There are two possible scenarios here, they either don't have D9GMH and the people in the links are all part of a vast conspiracy or they do have D9GMH and the people in the links did get those results
If you're frank, can I be charles?

if those are the same ones that i have then they should do you pretty good, i run mine somewhere around 470 to 480 with 2.25vdimm right now at 4-4-4-4 and they seem to be holding up pretty well
