Yes, I find that it is still very durable. Although aluminum is a soft metal, it still is strong enough to withstand anything a computer case could go through. People powder coat their car rims and those things go through some abuse.

Any place that does powder coating is fine as I believe it is the same process no matter if it is a car, case, anything metal really. I would recommend going to a place that does a lot of powder coating for things like cars as they can usually include your parts in a larger order they are already doing for someone else. This can usually get you a reduced price as they have set everything up already, but it need to be in the same colour the other is going through so common colours are the best for this trick.
