Why 2 x of the 160Gb drives? Are you planning to RAID them? If so, I'd advise against it. Instead, pick up a single 320gb 7200.10 drive. You'll get the same performance as 2 of the other drives in RAID, but you'll run a significantly lower risk of data loss.

Aside from that, I think it looks like a nice build.

yeh i have to agree a really nice build, but does make more sense to get 1 hdd rather than 2. Anyway thats what partitions are for

Pick up a 320GB Seagate 7200.10 and you can always get another later. The Seagates 7200.10s are FAST, almost as fast as Raptors.

yeah i was just reading about RAID, and i guess it is kinda stupid having 2 hard drives uless I wanted to do it in RAID level 1, and back up my files. not too sure i wanna do that though.
thanks for ur input on that.

do you guys think i should get a new fan for the CPU, or will the stock one be fine for overclocking?
and do i have enough watts? i think 550 is pretty sufficient, but what do u think?

EDIT: Nutty i see u have a raptor and a Seagate, what do u do with ur hard drives?

should have enough watts.

but if you're overclocking you can never really have too much power or cooling.

550w is enough but depends on whether your planning loads of lighting etc.

Also for oc i would an recommend upgrade of the hsf, or at least as5 cus otherwise you wont be able to reach the c2d full potential

Just ask if you want any other advice
