Goliathus Fragged Tracking?

how do optical mice track on those green splashes? the zowie ec evo series mice in particular?

When I used to use a combination of an EC2 Evo on a Goliathus Speed I didn't have any problems with tracking. I'm a bit anal retentive about it since some of my other mousepads changed the way it would track on different angles/sections of the pad, but the Goliathus was an exception even on the green splash sections of the pad.

I have had one problem that I can recall with my Goliathus and that was a problem with an Abyssus jittering quite badly on it, although I've had mixed results with a couple of Abyssus' on the Speed. I can't really comment on the Control as I've only used one for a short period of time, not my cup of tea.

I once had to play on a friend's colored QcK and it was absolutely horrible with the EC1 evo and since my old Goliathus Speed has basically fallen apart I need a replacement asap.

Thank you very much!

Have you tried the Mionix Sargas 320 / 400/ 900 mouse mats? Those seem to feel pretty decent and comparable to my Goliathus Speed and it's a little cheaper. I wouldn't know about longevity since I didn't buy one... yet.

Why not use another Goliathus if it's been good to you?

Had the old version without those green splashes and since I wasn't sure if the Zowie mice track as well on the fragged version I thought it would be better to ask before actually buying.

Both, the Zowie AM and the EC1 track perfectly fine on the new Goliathus Speed.
I dislike though that its not as thick as the old pad and the design is rather childish but I dont really mind.
