Help with new PC build - Page 4

Off topic: Badwrench, I love your Avatar - Calvin and Hobbs rock!

"Thanks. Will that be enough later on for sli...

and i still have some money to play around with. So should i go for better PC case,Better Graphics card or more RAM ( ill be running a MineCraft Server )."

Out of those three choices, personally I'd go with an upgrade in the graphics card again. Putting money in the case isn't going to bring you any performance gains. You are already at 16GB of ram, so unless you are going to be doing a lot of video editing or working with Adobe, that is plenty. What is left and will show performance gains? Again, the video card.

Have fun building your rig and post some pics when you are done thumb.gif

anything above a GTX650. you might even need less. ooh no actually they started supporting DX11. lets stick with 650 and above.

Just hit us up on this thread, or pm if you have specific questions thumb.gif

Oh, and I agree with getting a 650 or better for the gpu. I would stick with the 660. No sense getting the minimum to support a game, much better to have a little eye candy.
It's so little!

What about a 6950???
I don't see a point in build older models. Just go for the 660 they are close in performance but 660 doesn't use near as much power and can overclock good smile.gif
Trust me, you will regret saving on the gpu if you do gaming smile.gif
