newbie setting up a wc rig

Hey guys first time poster long time reader.

I recently purchased NZXT Switch 810 case.
I also ordered XSPC RX360 kit. From what I read is really good to begin with.

I will be cooling my cpu.
Probably adding my gpu to the loop once I get a better gpu.

My main questions are:
Gentle typhoon 1850rpm fans a good choice for the rad?
I will be adding a fan control scythe kaze master pro controller. Thoughts on said control?

System spec:

CPU: i7 3770k stock (no OC yet)
Mobo: gigabyte z77x-d3h
Current gpu: asus gtx560
Current ram: 2x4 1600 corsair lp
Hdd: 1tb black cav
Psu: corsair hc1050

Upgrades:
Asus gtx560 to EVGA gtx680 ftw
Corsair 1600 lp to gskill tridentx 2x8 gig 2400's

Thoughts?

Those fans will do the job but one thing to look at is the 2150rpm versions on FrozenCPU are actually about $1 cheaper per fan.

From what ive read alot of people start off with the xspc kits so that should be good for the cpu but if i were you i would get another 240 rad when you get to watercooling the gpu.

i made the same jump from a 560 to a 680 and the performance gain is amazing, not only does it perform better but while overclocked it also runs cooler than my 560. alot of people are gonna say that you get a better deal with the 7970 or wait a little for the new 700 series from nvidia, but if you upgrade now youll probably be happy with what you get.

Good luck with the watercooling, im looking to get that case as well so i can put my gpu under water.

Thanks man,
I will look into those fans.
Yeah I will put a second rad in the base of the case. But thats not untill I upgrade. It will probably be in the next few months for the card but the ram in a few weeks.

Im not an ATI fan. Had issues in the past with them.
I will be happy with the 680. I need physx for games.

IMHO GT fans are the brst for rads.

Also frozencpu is a great site im australian however

They want $50 for shipping any fan haha, i am sourcing those 1850's locally for 15 each with 15 shipping so win win! smile.gif

The 1850 GT's will work great, I'm currently using 8 of them in my system. The 2150's would obviously be a tad better but it's not worth the huge amount of extra money that would cost you. $15 a fan for the GT's locally is a great price.

Was thinking with the order though rad -> rez/pump combo -> cpu-> rad circuit or no?
