System:
QX6700 Engineering Sample L633A723
Quent's Asus P5B-Deluxe (Vdroop by Quent; Vcore, Vdimm & Vmch mods by Before)
STT Before's Xtrem 2*512Mb
Windows 2k3 Server (tweaked by Before)
Western Digital IDE 80Gb
2-Stager Unit @ -100C

Vcore = ~1.70V (1.66 to 1.76V)
Vddr = 2.74V
Vmch = 1.87V
Very impressive chip in the beginning, this QX6700ES benched Super Pi 1M @4804MHz @1.66V (with 3 disable cores), but finally failed to scale over 4836MHz even with more voltage.

CPU-Z Suicide

http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=142460

Check the reading of the temp... -9C is obviously wrong; it must be -70C or so (evaporator temp was about -85C; actually, it used to be -86C unloaded under Win 2k3 but -90C under Win XP... interesting to note )

Spi 1M @10.515s

Spi 32M @11m 18.172s

Didn't play with the timings for this 32M run. These are the SPD timings.

3D Mark 2001 SE succeeded @4600MHz (all 4 cores enable), BTW with my 7600GS the results aren't very interesting.

Thx for reading!

Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Keep in mind, before doesn't keep these chips, just tests them and sends them on their way.

Way to go, before, I think that's the highest, or very close to the highest, Kentsfield speed I've seen. The other one was using LN2, so I say you win, even if he's got a slightly higher clockspeed.

is the 11x Multi the highest it has?

WOW, even under -100C cascade that baby reaches -9C with that OC! That is an impressive amount of heat to fight a cascade system to 91C hotter than it's starting temp...

BTW, why did you have to disable all the cores but one for SuperPi?

EDIT: And I ask again, how do you get that DDR2-533 to hit 1140mhz???

Helps with stability and heat. 1 core running at 4.83 Ghz produces alot less heat than 4 at 4.83.

i love your rig
nice oc too

and u definately have a point about stability etc. not that id know much with only single core
