no problem. im interested to see as well. tons of good reviews through google searches ect. plus youtube vids ect.

seriously though even if you go 1866 it would do well. you can get 32gb of vengeance for around $200, gskill can also be had for a good price. i ran some of there sniper series 2133 and it ran nice. ended up selling it though.

I just loaned a kit of Avexir's while I wait for my Platinums to be RMA'd.... guess what else needs to be RMA'd. ***.

While my Corsair Platinums only threw a couple errors at me, the Avexirs had over 500 errors in the first 3 minutes of memtest. The lighting is kickarse, but I just lol'd manically because I just can't seem to catch a break with my RAM purchases as of late.

Buyer beware.

Trident X perhaps?

1600 2x8gb kit
2133 2x8gb kit
2400 2x8gb kit

I have related(ish) question. Can i get better CPU OC (with upping multi only, not bclk), with different 1600mhz CL9 kits? Or as long as the speeds and latencies are the same will the cpu oc the same? Or does any of the ram specs matter when upping multi only? Better RAM IC's have any impact on this?

1 stick is better for validations, 2 sticks for benchmarks ect. normally you want the fastest speed you can get for benchmarking. for validations you want something with little strain on the cpu.
