Could be caused by instability, try lowering the CPU overclock a little.

Also the 8028 Work Units are Uniprocessor, not SMP if that makes any difference at all.

Oh and what Kremtok asked. We need more info!

Technically, all SMP units show up as Uni. Look in HFM

Well obviously he is not at 3.5 GHz and well past what Turbo allows.

SMP A4 units are 'Uni' but they really aren't. They can run on either. I've gotten a 7610 a4 unit on a 1 threaded machine and it usually got similar WUs as my 3770k.

morning all

no sure why but my rig kept getting FAH RETURNED INTERRUPTED (100X63/66?) I cant remember the status code every few 20% or so...I dropped the memory overclock back abit gonna see if it makes a difference.

Minus the part you set your multiplier to 50... 100MHz x 50=5000MHz.

When you change the multi on ivy and sandy, it you are actually changing the boost clock multiplyer.

What gives?!

Memory speed has very little impact on ppd when folding A4's..... I went from 1866>2133>2400 without a significant increase in ppd, maybe 200 points.

Right what do you think to the interrupted messages, unstable memory oc?

Speedstep has nothing to do with hitting whatever your boost clock multiplier is set to (eg. 50 for 5Ghz at a 100MHz bclck). All turning speedstep off will do is keep your overclock at whatever you set your multiplier to. Sure your power consumption goes up, but not like that matters if you're folding 24x7. I've never had speedstep enabled on any of my sandy bridge setups because I've never wanted them to be throttled at any point.
