Thread Starter

Well ATI TOOL is the best overclocking utility IMO. : http://www.techpowerup.com/atitool/

When it comes to drivers they all vary ...You will have to find the best for you really However I would look at the Omega drivers here :http://www.omegadrivers.net/

Sometimes you will have to muck about to find the best drivers..We can only reccomend drivers as a whole that have performed ok.

well i have a 9600 myself. and i use the omega drivers. trust me they work very well. ATI Tool is Defently the best OCer 4 that card. but u could always use ATI Tray Tools, that comes with the Omega Drivers. that works well to. but takes longer to find your max clock speeds. let me know when u get yourself a copy of the omega drivers and u have ATI Tray Tools installed. and i will send u my config file. which has a heap of optimization i have done on the card. with the setting i have got i have gotten an extra 39% performance boost on average. before OCing. Best of luck. also is that a 256mb version or the 128mb??? (in most cases except 4 a Game called F.E.A.R) the 128mb version is better

I've tried many drivers and overclocking utils to get mine to OC the best. The best drivers are the Omega drivers like Enterprise said, but i liked the overclocking tool that came with the drivers. The ATI tool try thing...its great!
