Is that aluminum? Wow, it would be AWESOME if you made it out of square aluminum tubing and pumped the water through it! (with some serious corrosion inhibitors of course) With that much aluminum, you wouldn't need a fan, it would radiate all the heat into the room. Great for the winter smile.gif

Sorry about the lack of updates guys, I've had a bit going on over the last couple of weeks.

I managed to get most of the MDF panels cut for the desk frame. Just have a couple more to do then I'll apply some black laminate to the sheets and attach them to the frame.

The openings at the back of the desk (bottom in this picture) will be black mesh to allow some air flow for the PC and other components.

Attempt number one for cutting the desk-top - I may have a future in furniture making (Ha).

I've also ordered some drawer runners and black mesh. Shouldn't be too long until I start configuring the layout of the components on the PC drawer. Stay tuned!

That would be awesome! If I was going to do something along those lines thought I would be sure to isolate the coolants using a heat exchanger.

Also, subbed! thumb.gif

AN UPDATE AFTER 11 MONTHS..

My first update in a *little* while. This build is still going, put on hold for a long time due to other commitments. I've been back at work on it the last couple of months and intend to have it finish by end of January redface.gif

Some minor hardware amendments have been/will be made:
  • GTX 690's were sold a while back, have since purchased a GTX Titan with another two on the way wink.gif
  • One of the Aquaero 5 units were sold, I'm looking to buy the new Aquaero 6 (to drive the 16 Delta fans)
  • I'm opting away from the mechanical drives for storage, instead I'm now looking into the new Samsung EVO drives
  • The Lepa PSU was sold earlier in the year, I will likely be purchasing two RM1000 Corsair PSU's in the coming weeks

Over the last couple of months I've made progress in the external radiator case, got some work done on the desk, and within the coming weeks I am looking to start assembling the PC within the display drawer. I'll start posting what has been done as of today, so expect updates on any number of the previously mentioned.

Just some items I've received recently wink.gif Sorry about the poor quality photos, there may be a few more like this so I'll try to do better in future. More updates on the build progress to come!
