that's a good question. I just got the N2 a few weeks ago and its the fastest thing ive had yet. I cant imagine a phone getting any faster, i would just wait a little longer and see the S4 brings... if you don't like it at least there's a great chance the note 2 will drop in price.

But i would prefer that a better more stable OS is made instead of Moar cores.

This would be a very nice upgrade from Skyrocket. I do notice some input lag on the Skyrocket but its usually only when typing as you receive a text at the same time or something similar. The Galaxy Express i have does not have that issues, so it makes me think that is just a touchwiz issue seeing as both run a different version, or the 4.0.4 update did something to it. /shrug

This will more then likely be my next upgrade.

I have played with Samsung Galaxy SIIIs and Notes and they also lag more or less by the same amount. So the problem is widespread and Android flagships are not exempt from the lagging. But somehow, my iPad 3 is buttery smooth all the time.

I'd like to clarify that these lags are quite minor; it's just that split-second of stuttering that occurs when changing apps, or going into the app drawer, or when changing to landscape mode, etc... But it is very noticeable to me, and it shouldn't to be there. And I don't think the problem is the specs, it is the Android OS.

No offense, but that's most likely your setup... and the One X isn't the smoothest or most up-to-date of phones.I don't think amny are running 4.1.1 yet (I could be wrong) let alone 4.1.2 or 4.2.1

Have you tried the latest 4.1.2 leak?

instead of this, why not go quad-core, with two efficient cores and two "performance" cores.

i'd rather have close to dumbphone battery life than mostly pointless performance increases

Lol @ input lag. Was gone even before JB. ICS's hardware acceleration destroyed that.
