Question about Gigabytes + Asus' "main" P965 mobos

"Average" FSBs-
Gigabyte S3/DS3 = ...? (~475-500?)
Gigabyte DQ6 = ...? (~500-550?)
Asus P5B(-E) = ...? (~500?)
Asus P5B Deluxe = ...? (~520+?)

Just wondering. I really want at least 500FSB. (3.5Ghz on the E6300.) More the better. I was planning on the Deluxe, but I really like the price of the S3. I know the Asus P5B usually clocks a bit higher than the Gigabyte DS/S3, from what I've seen, but I'd be "happy" with a mobo that saves me $20 vs 5-10FSB

BTW - anyone with the S3 or DS3- whats the max memory voltage?

its almost impossible to hit 500 on S3 unless u know exactly what RAM works the best w/ board, as ppl say D9 got compatibility problem w/ that board. anything else i dont know

I think the S3 is the best for a budget overclocker, but I'm fairly certain that it won't be able to reach 500mhz sadly. The P5B deluxe and i680 boards are the only boards I've seen achieve that.

My S3 currently peeks at 429MHz. Theyre right that its tough to get 500 out of the S3 and thus the DS3 as the only difference is the solid caps which means little ultimately for OC.
