i7 3770K VS i5 3570K Cache (8 MB vs 6 MB)

Thread Starter
Assuming I turn off HT for the 3770K and compared the i7 to the i5, how much would I need to OC it so the extra 2 MB of cache is worth paying for?

I'd really love to setup an experiment, but I don't have the cash to pay for a new rig.

I'd hate to bump, but I'm really curious.

If I posted this thread in the wrong place, then I apologize.

From what I understand the extra 2mb is negligible when it comes to gaming and performance outside of video editing, CAD, etc.
