so i am out looking for a laptop go get. the max i want to pay is $999. but yet i dont want a "Gaming Laptop" if you get what i mean,
at most i saw the Asus G45 for $999( which is a gaming laptop) the specs are not bad but im not sure if i want it because it has a GTX660 and not nvidia optimise.

the other laptop( same price as Asus G45 is the samsung chronos 7

this one i really like, the only thing i dont like is the trackpad

and here is the money saver, which is an amd a10 with a HD 7670 which is ideal because i want something cheap with a nice graphics card but wont kill the system

overall i feel like going with the samsung one
because it has Nvidia optimise, 1600x900 resolution and its very sleek looking, while the other two have 768p

which should i go with OC.net or is there something better ( will not go Lenovo haha)

With laptops around $1000, I think the most important spec is resolution. 1920x1080. I wouldn't go for anything less at the price you're paying. After that, I'd be looking for an i7 and preferably an SSD. RAM can be added for cheap later and GPU doesn't seem like it's a deal breaker for you.

I've had the best experience with Asus laptops, though they can be a bit pricier.

Lenovo Y580 should be what you want, i believe its sleeker than other laptops but you can get that 1080p screen.

I don't need 1080p. The most that would be used fir in gaming are things like minexraft. League of legends. Dota 2. Diablo 3 and dishonored. Would my money saver option be good or the samsung. Chronos 7

did you ever try dell-website? - there you could check out (put pieces together) your preffered pieces for the machine you'd like, and putem together. probably an inspironR Spedical Edition 14/15 could work your budget out:D

my gf has a samsung laptop, by far the the best over all laptop i have used.

it would be good to know what you plan on doing with the laptop to help choose what the most bang for your buck would be.
