The 720QM got stuck for a while on the multithreaded part, but the rest went without a hitch, I'm working on testing my 840 x4 and after that my 955BE stock, but I need to install something that's not xp cause xp won't run it. Gonna configure a 2008 R2 disk for them since I'm out of W7 licenses and I think vista would probably score a bit lower. Should have more results by Sunday or Monday.

Nice!

Anyway, xp does run this benchmark, it runs it even better. You can get at least 200 points more running older OS's like xp.
Your 720QM seems to score low, though it runs on a very low clockspeed and is pretty old already.
Could you maybe go to the menu tab and click on system information with the next tests? So I can see RAM and cpu, so when I use the screenshot somewhere else they know what cpu it is. tongue.gif

Thanks for testing.

EDIT: was every program closed while running?
What are the timings and speed of your ram?

Yea I can do a cpu-z shot on the next runs, the 2600K was running 1866 MHz ram 9-10-9-27 2T and the 720QM is 1066MHz ram probably 9-9-9-18 but I would have to double check. I tried to run on my 840 x4 machine but it's currently running XP and said it was not a valid win 32 program, but I'll try again.

I'll run the 720 again, it is quite low, ill put the CPU-Z in there for you too.

Sorry, but it's a 64bit benchmark, so it wont run on 32bit... :S

What about the 955?

What about the 955?

Working on it going to set it up later tonight, it's currently a mobo with a cpu in it borrowing ram from my sig rig to run it lol.

Ty, Nice! Wanted to test my athlon 64 x2 5000+.... but I've lo spare psu lol
post #97 of 470
Trying to get a athlon II x3 440 test, it seems like it only loads 2 cores during the mulithreaded test. The "4thread" test scores higher than the multithreaded test. I'll work on getting a picture uploaded.

Hmm weird, normally the multithreaded should be fixed from bugs like that because it just runs the threads on how many logicals the cpu has.

Anyway, thanks for testing!
