I had a problem with my PC and I had to re-install Windows 7 and everything, Now i have been trying to figure out how the heck I got my primary weapon to be in slot 2 and secondary pistol weapon in slot 1 , just like in BFBC2 where you scroll up to pistol and scroll down from primary weapon to everything else: (med pack, ammo, c4, defib, tugs, mav, RPG, EOD bot, etc etc).
After getting use to my setup of having my pistol in slot 1 and primary in slot 2, i was surprise to see that I have forgotten that BF3 default is the opposite of BFBC2 (Primary in slot 1 and secondary in slot 2) Makes it a lot harder and slower and less efficient to use the scroll wheel to get to what I want.
I know a lot of you guys like to use the numbers up top, but I like to be running around with Q,W,E and Shift while dodging snipers and being able to switch stuff with scroll wheel because I'm one of those people that constantly run around (without stopping) and give meds and ammo to my team.
I was able to figure out how to change it to BFBC2 style when BF3 first came out a long time ago but now I have spent all morning trying to get back my weapon scrolling the way it was before I re-installed, and I have not been able to figure it out yet.
Anyone that knows how? It would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the TL:DR.
(edit: I tried assigning the #1 on the keyboard to the pistol and #2 to primary, that did not transfer over to the mouse scroll wheel)
