3 different cards, 2 different manufacturers? Oh come on...

But read next - its certain that flickering react on some certain settings - such as enabled supersampling.

same expierience.

For my part it is 3 cards tested on both systems i own. Happend on all 3. The only Thing my systems have common is that they both use the same Motherboard (but differen Uefi versions).
I can feel you there. It is frustrating to explain this issue over and over again, searching for fixes and get the same answers like "looks like you overclocked to much" again and again.

You seem to enjoy it ...... tongue.gif

These are the games I played since I owned the 7970s with no issues (regardless of the driver). If anyone is having issues (W7 @ 1080p) with any of them I can try to assist in resolving the issues by providing the IQ settings for said game(s) :

I'd enjoy finding a fix for my issues.

I don't own most of DX9 games you own(except Dishonored and Still Alive) and i guess most of them are just not affected. Some of them are DX11 some are DX9B. Most affected games are DX9C.
Dishnored flickerd for me but i did not play it with 12.11 (it MAY be fixed now). Still Alive runs fine.
All other DX11 games we share run fine for me. BF3, Deus Ex, Metro, Dirt3, May Payne, Sleeping dogs and Arkham City

My issues are mostly with CS:GO, Hotline Miami and Starcraft 2 (Menu flickering happening in the rankings every once in a while and very rare flickering on some maps).

I get crazy stuttering when jumping from an airplane in BF3. Anybody else get this as well?

Don't 'GO' & 'Source' share the same engine?
I'll install 'SC2' tonight (or latest tomorrow) & get back to you.

It is basically the same engine but I think GO uses L4D2's engine which is more updated than the old Source engine with better lighting, particle system and higher texture resolution.

I guess because the whole map below you is visible & thus rendered which would cause full GPU usage & a huge drop in fps.

Recently came from 6970, never saw an artifact unless I OC'd too high.

Just upgraded to 7970 Lightning, saw artifacting in BF3 and Crysis 2 in dark areas on the screen. Thought it was my OC so I dialed it down to stock and same problem. Was getting really pissed since I already installed a waterblock, and thought I had a defective card that would need to be returned to Amazon.

I uninstalled all drivers using the AMD utility, reinstalled to the latest Beta drivers (13.1 maybe?) and went back in the games. No artifacting to speak of, even at my highest OC (1250/1550).

I'm somewhat glad to hear more people have this issue rather than me thinking I have a faulty card, will stay subbed to this thread.

I don't know about CSS.
But for example Team Fortress 2 doesn't flicker for me although it's Source. It's so random, that's what makes it hard to reproduce it sometimes. I think in CS:Go it might be related to "2D" Stuff like the Radar and Scoreboard.
SC2 is a bad testing game and i guess you won't notice it without playing it very much. But you may test the Rankings where your Division and Name is listed with all other playernames. Here sometimes a strange flicker happens. Starring at it for around 5-10 Minutes should show it. In-Game its pretty hard to notice. I owned the Card for around1 Month till i noticed it the first time and then i still wasn't sure if "it" is really there.
