Can BT be removed without taking the Mobo out?

Thread Starter
I am trying to remount the HS because with room temperature of about 25C, the opty 165 goes about 50C with BT and AS5, i think i used too much AS5. Can i remove the BT (not VX) without taking the mobo out of the case? it was long time ago so i don't recall how i put it in.

Thanks

Edit: my screw is put in from the backside of the motherboard, i hope i can just loosen the nuts and let the screws stay where they are, hopefully i can put it back on without taking the motherboard out.

yeah, you can do it without taking the mobo out. not too hard. aside from trying to get the nuts back on. that was the hard part.

If you used the original plastic backing plate it's a piece of cake. If you used the metal support that came with it, maybe, maybe not!

If it's been a long time since the app of the AS5 of there is to much, redoing will be worth the work. Use a medum sized grain of uncooked rice blob next time.
