afaik its the boost bios that's locked because it has LLC built in, Sapphires next Trixx will work on "volt locked" cards, or you can flash to a non boost bios. Forcing constant voltage also works smile.gif

Oh ok, so unless i get the new 1Ghz model, ill be free of such things. Cool. Mine was listed as 900Mhz, but that is yet to be unveiled. And i believe the new boost bios has ridiculous stock voltage so i propably wouldn't even need to boost the voltage further anyway.

Imo the Gigabyte and Sapphire don't differ much performance wise, but Gigabyte offers 3 year warranty versus Sapphire's 2 year so I recommend Gigabyte.
