For pure gaming 3570k OCed to 4.5ghz with two GPUs (7970 or 670s will do just go with your taste) will be far superior to any 2011 gaming rigs.

Spend a bit more and get a mobo with a PLX chip and you can go Quad GPU even!

I'm an SBE guy (3930) but not a fan boy about it...For just gaming there's not a big bang for the buck. But, I'm no sure I agree with "will be far superior to any 2011 gaming rigs". Bottom-line, if you're "just" gaming and budget is an issue there's no "price/performance" reason to go with an SBE-based platform. Where I think you could see a benefit in gaming is with CPU heavy games (e.g. BF3 multiplayer), multiple GPUs (especially 3 or 4), high resolutions (e.g. if you want to do eyefinity), all the eye candy turned all the way up, and wanting to hit frame rates for 120mhz monitors. In other words, not really the "sweet spot" for 99.9% of the gamers out there.

i would for sure think about buying it.. you know by now, that UD3 mobo is a very good one,
maybe use tweakers.net, to compare what it will cost if you buy them separate?

I work near one... Live same thing. About 15-20 minute drive there. I go there once every few months so that ain't good enough for you guys but PM me if you want and I'll see if I can work something out!

$170 for 3570k
Usually around 60-150, depending if you get budget boards with solid vrm setup or higher end boards which cost $180~

I can ship too but that's something I'd charge you for since I don't go to the post office. Still be cheaper than you guys buying locally? Insurance for the mailing? That costs more money eh?

I'm willing to help out, just gotta somehow make time or fit it into the schedule.

Can you tell me the total cost it'd take you to buy it over there? I want to calculate the margin and see what we got to work with here.
I'll check out shipping and tax and see how much wiggle room you save wink.gif

I live in the US and i'd wonder if you would do this for me also in the future possibly, they have some amazing deals some time but the one in PA is on the other side of the state from me. I would def pay you for your time.
