Not to mention no support for any 3.5" drives.
How I would like to see the case done, is to have the top detachable some how. I have had to take apart my loop and go back to air cooling and when I did that I would not want all that wasted space up top. Cpu coolers would be limited, but there are many top down coolers that would probably excel in this type of case.
3.5 drives can be placed in two places. Where the ssd's are. Yes you can. Think about it. If you were installing all your components, one of the last things you would do is install the hdd's. They would overlap with the hole behind the cpu, but who cares if the cooler is on. If you have to take the cooler off, its not difficult to remove hdd's. I have mine velcro'd currently. You could also place the hdd's beneath the gpu. So in total you could probably fit easily 4 drives. More if you got creative with the Velcro.
One problem with 3.5in hdd's is that they make cable management more difficult if only slightly.
The space below the gpu could be used for lots of things. You could put fans there. Hdd's there. I personally would place my 5.25in bay fan controller down there, inside the case, modded to fit.

Only way to fit a radiator as large as I want. Cool air intake on radiator is a plus. If one wanted to, they could fit two thin rads up there also. Really unlimited choice on which 240 radiator. I could even fit 38mm fans in push pull on my monsta. It would have the space.
Sadly I am probably too late to give corsair any any ideas. They probably have several prototype idea cases built. It would be awesome if corsair could do something similar to this with obsidian styling and corsair engineering to make the top radiator compartment detachable.Edited by james888 - 8/25/13 at 11:44pm
