Blizzard actually did a whole lot with HOTS not just new units but all the extra stuff they did for people to make custom maps sooo much better not too metion they're making a moba style game free for people as well called "blizzard dota' and from the looks of the cinematic an awesome campaign well worth $60 imo...........qq more though it's cool
That is a very well done cinematic. From the color tone, to the camera movement, to the fluid movement of the characters to the small details - everything ticks into place.
What were you expecting, honestly? New campaign, new units, new art, new music - these things cost money. It's not like this is a $15 DLC pack that adds 3 new multiplayer maps and 1 unit per race.
If you don't play online I can see balking at the price, but that's like buying a Call of Duty game for the single-player experience. With that being said, there's an unranked matchmaking mode in HotS, meaning you can play in an almost zero-pressure environment: no points, no rank icons, no win/loss records, etc.
For the number of hours people are liable to sink into this, $40 isn't a bad deal at all.

.
Admittedly, multiplayer has been scaled back a bit since they first demoed everything, but each race still has a handful of new units that open up new build orders. If they went too crazy the whole eSports side of things would be in limbo for a while until "balance" (Blizzard balance, at least) is achieved.
Even if you view the multiplayer changes as more of a DLC-style addition, there's still a 20+ level campaign attached. Again, how many hours do you need to put into a $40 game before you've gotten your money's worth?
