Corsair Alternative to Seasonic M1211 750W suggestions?

Hi guys

Still putting together a new rig and im just down to power supplies. I was planning on getting the M1211 750w from Seasonic due to the price/efficiency and fan which automatically turns on only at higher performance needs (ie quietness when not gaming).

My supplier doesnt stock the seasonic they suggested the Corsair HX750v2 but it comes out abit more expensive. Was hoping for a cheaper alternative which has those three qualities I was hoping for? The fan automatically only turning on at higher performance seems especially interesting smile.gif

Thanks very much guys!

Where are you buying from and what brands are available? There are often many equally good unit for less or better units for the same price as Corsair's offerings. If we know that, we can make some recommendations.

I think that the alternative of Seasonic M12II would be the corsair Tx750w V2.Both will perform very well and very similar in price(The corsair is a little bit cheaper),but the seasonic is a semi modular psu while the corsair is a non modular .
Therre is also Antec High Current Gamer Series HCG-750 which is also a non modular psu but it's cheaper than the corsair Tx unit but perform very well.

What will you be powering with this system?

Can you order from a different site? If so, this price aggregator may be helpful for those who are going to provide recommendations: http://www.staticice.com.au/

I'd go for the Thermaltake Toughpower XT 775. It's a great unit (HardwareSecrets, JonnyGuru) and is considerably cheaper. The Antec High Current Gamer is also a great unit, though it's not modular and the Earthwatts Platinum is a good unit, but, again, not modular.
