yeah the fact that you need 1275mv to run at 1200 mhz is disappointing. but still 1200 mhz is a nice performance bump up from stock speeds. you have to remember 1250 - 1300 mhz is considered golden for tahiti. you got an average overclocker. as i said make sure core temps are below 70c and vrm temps below 90c. always go for safety and stability over raw performance.

If you go to hwbot.org and search for 7970 on air, you'd find that a lot of them top out at about 1200 mhz and quite a few don't even make it that high.

Like Raghu said, 1250-1300 is golden. But we have a few other members here giving the impression that all cards will do that and it's simply not the case.

Hi!
In first time,,sorry for my poor english.
When the blue button is in light on is the first bios or second bios?
What bios is flashable 1 or 2?
What bios is more friendly for read vcore in MSI AB or TRIXX and to OC?
I think the two are the same, but I guess that one is flashable and other no,but i dont know.

I don't have the card but to read vcore i think the best is using GPU-Z.
