i filled out the form with all game modes checked, and got high chances--then unchecked "casual" and it gave me the excellent X-D
I think at least part of the issue is that the "chances of getting in" meter has considerable lag. I filled out the entire form (not a member of a guild, so I put "none" in the guild blank) and was stuck at "above average" for about 30 seconds or so, but then the meter inexplicably jumped to "excellent" after I scrolled back up, proofread the application, and selected/deselected a couple more boxes.
As for the "why" question, my response was maybe 100-150 words, just enough to fill out most of the box without scrolling. I think being too wordy probably hurts your chances as much as being too brusque.
Here's hoping that Beth hasn't coded TESO with a bunch of garbage x87 code like they did with Skyrim; my 'dozer might be able to run it competently, then. The whole "hundreds of characters" in the PVP battles implies to me that it'll be well-threaded, but who knows?Edited by PiOfPie - 1/25/13 at 12:22pm
