Looking for Noctua case fans

Thread Starter
I am looking for Noctua casefans that are inaudible but still push enough air. They are for a bitfenix prodigy case without HDD bays and ODD bay and a noctua nh-d14 cpu cooler.(have not build it yet but am going to this year sooner or later)

Should I go for 140mm or 120mm and the FLX, PWM or ULN versions? Silence is what I want. Do round frames fit on the prodigy case?

Thanks in advance.

i have the nf-f12s in my prodigy with the L.N.A. (low noise adapter) that comes with them (limits them to 1200rpm) and they are completely silent. even sitting 2 feet away from it, there is still no noise. they are somewhat expensive but well worth it. i have rads in my case though so i need lots of static pressure. if you aren't going that route, these are probably better since they have better airflow at the same noise ratings:

I don't live in america. In fact the shop where I'm going to buy my parts has these noctua fans for sale:

120mm

Noctua NF-S12B FLX

Noctua NF-S12B ULN

Noctua NF-F12 PWM

Noctua NF-P12 PWM

140mm

Noctua NF-A15 PWM

Noctua NF-P14 FLX

Which to buy and how many that is the question.
They will go in a bitfenix prodigy without ODD or HDD case so it has room for a 140mm or 2x120mm in front.
Top priority is silence.
Thanks all

i would get the Noctua NF-P14 FLX for the front since it will be the quietest and a Noctua NF-S12B FLX for the back exhaust and if you want, you can get two more Noctua NF-S12B FLX for the top but that isn't necessary but will provide better cooling

my Prodigy build, i aimed for silence, and i used the stock fans that came with the case. i used a 7volt inline resistor that brings the stock Bitfenix fans down to about 880rpm, they are absolutely completely silent. WAY quieter than my Corsair SP120 Quiet edition fans with an inline resistor that brings them down to 1000 rpm.

the fans that come with the prodigy, when undervolted, are SILENT.

and a resistor is only a few bucks, where as noctua fans are a lot more wink.gif
Super quiet

Will these fans be as quiet as PWM fans turned all the way down? Or are these FLX fans already dead silent?
